Classroom Earth (www.classroomearth.org) is an online resource designed to help high school teachers include environmental content in their daily lesson plans. Useful resources on the site include:

Planet Connect wants your students to make a creative video that shows how they are reducing their carbon footprint-whether it’s biking, using less water, walking more, etc. We know youth can make a difference. This is their chance to inspire others.

Prizes include: An Apple MacBook, iPad and more.

The deadline for submission is May 2^nd, 2010.

Recognizing the importance of conserving both water and energy to protect the planet and reduce costs—and acknowledging the connection between water and energy—EE Week’s 2010 theme is Be Water and Energy Wise.
