Environmental Excellence Awards


SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment recognizes the outstanding efforts of K-12 students and teachers across the country who are working at the grassroots level to protect and preserve the environment. The SeaWorld/Busch Gardens Environmental Excellence Awards provide school and community groups with a monetary award, national recognition and fun at one of their parks.

Pepsi accepts 1000 ideas every month for projects that have a positive impact on the community. People vote for which project they like the most and the top projects receive funding. There are up to 32 awardees a month with funding of up to $250,000.

State Farm Youth Advisory Board Grants

The State Farm Youth Advisory Board funds service-learning projects between $25,000 and $100,000 that address environmental issues. Examples of projects include building a school greenhouse and developing a water pollution community education program. PLT GreenWorks! Grants

in Topic: 

This funding opportunity awards up to $5,000 for a student-led, service-learning project. Applications must be trained in Project Learning Tree (PLT), engage at least one community partner and acquire 50 percent in matching funds. Through this grant, PLT hopes to engage students in making a significant difference in their community.
